At stake are trophies, medals and cash prizes for the top 10 winners in four categories: elite/pro, 30 years old and below, 31-40 years old, and 41 years old and above. Special prizes will also be awarded to select participants. Raffle draws will also be held for all participants, ensuring that not only race winners will have something to take home. T-shirts will also be provided to all participants.

Participants can use only mountain bikes, with a minimum 1.85 tire size, not using slick tires, and wearing helmets.

Preparations are underway to make this race as enjoyable and as safe as possible. Marshals, food and waters stations, and medical support personnel will be strategically positioned along the route to guide and help participants.

Cyclists and cycling enthusiasts are encouraged to participate in this race, if only to discover Montalban’s hidden cycling gem while being guided and supported by the local government and a local cycling club.
The race will start at 7AM at the Rodriguez municipal hall. Participants can register onsite.

With this race, Montalban showcases one of the town’s best, and most challenging, mountain biking destinations. At the mountain summits, one can enjoy the scenic vistas of Metro Manila and Bulacan, and of Sierra Madre.

This race is organized by the Rodriguez municipal government under the leadership of Mayor Elyong Hernandez. The Montalban Cycling Club and the Rodriguez Youth and Sports Development Office are co-managing this event.

  2. Pakibasa yung mga earlier posts dito sa website namin. Mass start ang gagawin, kasi mahaba ang distansya ng rolling start bago bitawan ang karera. Color-coded naman kaya malalaman mo ang mga kalaban mo.
