Come join us celebrate this year's fiesta of San Isidro, Rodriguez (Montalban), Rizal with an MTB XC race!

Tour de Burgos MTB XC race on February 2

The Tour de Burgos MTB XC race, in its 11th continuous year, will be held in Sorrento Village, Burgos, Rodriguez, Rizal - same venue as last year - on February 2. We invite all bikers to join us in this race, and help celebrate the fiesta of Bgy. Burgos.

Categories for the race are as follows:

  • Beginners
  • 29 years old and under
  • 30-39 years old
  • 40years old and over

Prizes for winners in each category are as follows:

  • Champion: P2,000, trophy
  • 1st Runner Up: P1,000, trophy
  • 2nd Runner Up: P500, trophy
  • 3rd-9th Runner Up: medals

Registration is set at P150 per participant. Registration will be on-site. Registration starts at 6AM on race day.

This race is sponsored by the Montalban Cycling Club in cooperation with Bgy. Capt. Boy Cruz and the Burgos Barangay Council.

10th Tour de Burgos MTB XC Challenge

10th Tour de Burgos MTB XC Race to be held on February 3

As part of the celebrations for the fiesta of Bgy. Burgos, Rodriguez, Rizal, the 10th Tour de Burgos MTB Cross-Country Cycling Race will be held on February 3. Location will be announced later.

There will be four (4) race categories: Beginners, 18-25 YO, 26-35 YO, and 36 YO and over.

Montalban Mountain King fun cycling race on December 11

RER Bike Shop is sponsoring a fun cycling race in Montalban, Rizal this December 11. Dubbed the first "Montalban Mountain King", this fun cycling race is open to all non-pro cyclists, including weekend riders.

This race is part of the celebration of Montalban's town fiesta this year. It will be facilitated by the Montalban Cycling Club.

Mountain King fun cycling race.
The race will start at Montalban town proper and end at scenic Mt. Parawagan in Sitio Wawa, Bgy. San Rafael. It will cover about 9 kms., 5.5 kms. of which will be on paved roads, while the rest will be climbs on rough roads going up Mt. Parawagan. Fun riders will have shorter distance.

Race categories will be based on age groupings, and a special category for fun riders. Awards will also be given to special race finishers. Raffle prizes also await all participants. Provision of commemorative/event shirts for all participants is being explored.

Only mountain bikes with tire size of 1.85 and above will be permitted to join the race.

Registration fee, registration areas, and more details will be announced later.
