Pintong Bukawe - Wawa Dam MTB route

Ever wanted to try the challenging San Mateo - Pintong Bukawe - Casile - Wawa Dam route?  I would have wanted to write it myself, but Jovan Puyo of bisikleta.ph has already written two excellent guides - with pictures, videos and a map - about this route.

Jovan started this route from Monterey, although alternative routes going up to Pintong Bukawe will be Shotgun Road in San Mateo, or Cabading   (Sapinit Road) in Antipolo.

Take this route during summer only, when the water level has gone low enough for the river crossings to be passable. Bring or top-up your food and water, especially before you leave Pintong Bukawe.
