race. This is a mountain bike cross-country race in a technical course.
It will be held on February 6, in Sitio Marang, Bgy. Burgos, Rodriguez
(Montalban), Rizal, the same location as that of last year's race. The
race starts at 7 AM.
The Tour de Burgos is organized annually by the Montalban Cycling Club
as part of the celebration of Bgy. Burgos' fiesta, which falls on every
first Monday of February. This race will be the eighth consecutive race
to be held in as many years. It is participated in by a growing number
of cyclists from Rizal, Metro Manila, and neighboring provinces because
of the challenging race tracks.
Categories to be competed in are beginners, class C, and class B. Cash
and trophy awaits the top three winners in each category. Registration
will be done on-site.
