Cyclists to spearhead tree planting in Montalban on Ondoy's 2nd year

On Ondoy's second year, the Montalban Cycling Club will be spearheading a tree planting activity in Montalban. We invite cyclists to join us on September 25 for a ride and a tree planting activity.

We are in coordination with the municipal government and the municipal DENR office for this activity. The MENRO will provide seedlings and is helping us identify the best possible areas for the activity.

This tree planting activity is our own small contribution in helping prevent the recurrence of Ondoy-type destruction in Montalban in particular, and in the Philippines in general.

Ondoy has also ravaged Montalban in a way that has never happened in living memory.

We will provide more details of this activity as these develop.
