MCC joins Cycad 15th century ride

Twelve members of MCC joins Cycad's 15th century ride from Quezon City to Balanga, Bataan on 21 February 2010.

The 157-kilometer ride thru the winding and rolling hills of Bulacan, straight flatlands of Pampanga, and under the sweltering summer heat, was joined in by around 275 bikers from Metro Manila and environs. Starting at QC circle at 6AM, we took lunch by 1PM in Bataan. After this, we road for another 30 minutes going to Balanga, Bataan.

Rima is the only woman participant and this event, and a finisher at that! She was recognized as such during the ceremony.

Balanga prides itself as a main birdwatching capital. The Balanga city government welcomed the bikers warmly. We were treated to bird watching here. After which, the city mayor joined us in giving raffle prizes.

We road the bus back home, sponsored by the Balanga government. Our bikes arrived an hour later, and we still pedaled our way home from QC circle, reaching our homes at around 9PM.

Another wonderful ride.
